OUR INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS DEPEND ON YOUR SUPPORT
In the last six years, nearly a third of all independent abortion clinics have been forced to close their doors – greatly diminishing access to essential health care in our country. And that was before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Access to abortion care is under threat, and is being amplified by this crisis. Independent providers serve three out of every five patients who have an abortion, yet they receive only a fraction of public support. The time is now to protect and support the courageous providers who are no strangers to providing care during times of crises.
This moment is unprecedented, and clinics are rising to the occasion. The need for abortion care continues to exist now and will throughout this pandemic, and clinics remain committed to providing that care now and in the future.
It’s time to protect independent clinics, because we provide care when and where others will not, with a commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind. We know that we are stronger together and that abortion is essential health care. Let’s unite and show our country that we need to keep our clinics.
